Cilantro Lime Tuna with Tangy Sauce
Cilantro Lime Tuna

Times above do not include making rice or salad.
1 Yellowfin Tuna steak
1 tablespoon ghee
Sesame seeds
Poppy Seeds
1/2 diced avocado
1/2 lime
Cilantro
Finely mince about a teaspoon of cilantro and bruise the leaves either with a mortar and pestle, or with the flat of your knife.
Press sesame and poppy seeds onto both sides of the tuna steak.
Heat ghee in skillet over medium high heat.
Sear tuna in ghee for three minutes per side.
Remove from skillet and let rest for five minutes.
Cut tuna into bite sized pieces and mix with avocado.
Place on a bed of rice or salad, add minced cilantro, and squeeze lime juice over all.
Top with tangy sauce (below) or Ponzu, and garnish with additional cilantro if desired.
Tangy Sauce
Prep Time: Under 5 minutes
1 tablespoon orange marmalade or honey
1 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon minced ginger
Combine all ingredients and refrigerate until serving.
